Caring for People

A few years ago we experienced firsthand how many people in our community was struggling financially, many of which had no accommodation, clothing or even nourishment. We decided that something had to be done to assist these families and hence out of this the Brakpan Crisis Centre was born.

Our aim at the Brakpan Crisis Centre is to provide accommodation, nourishment and care to the destitute and underprivileged families of Brakpan with a special emphasis on children. We offer individuals an opportunity to mend their ways and start afresh in an alcohol and drug-free environment.

Whilst we provide accommodation, nourishment and care, we also offer a learning opportunity to the residents whereby skills are taught hence providing a platform for individuals to spread their wings and begin standing on their own feet.

ELECTRICITY TO BE CUT

The Brakpan Crisis Centre URGENTLY requires funding to keep the electricity and water supply connected and avoid the residents having to go without. The Ekhuruleni Municipality will terminate the electricity supply shortly should payment not be made. Should you be able to help, kindly contact us via our "Contact Us" page.
